Motion Picture Monday: Perfect Soundtrack Song

Out of all the movies out in the world today which one has the perfect soundtrack song, and what is that song?

For me there are so many good movies out there, and I notice a lot have terrible soundtrack songs that I wish I could have just put the soundtracks together myself (I am looking at you Fifty Shades of Grey).

Movie: The Crow (1994)

Imdb Summary: A man brutally murdered comes back to life as an undead avenger of his and his fiancée’s murder.

Song: Burn by: The Cure

Everything about it goes absolutely perfect with the movie whether it is the tone, the dark sounds, the emotion, or the instruments.

The crow is a dark movie with a lot of action, and it needed this song for that soundtrack!

  1. I’ve always been obsessed with the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack (The Leo and Claire one)! No matter how much time has past the songs are still relevant and catchy to me! Never gets old.

  2. One song from one movie is difficult to choose. However, two movie soundtracks that come to mind are Marie Antoinette (Kirsten Dunst) and Better Off Dead (John Cusack). I adore both..

  3. I’m going to have to say Silver Linings Playbook, learning to dance scene. Girl from the North Country-Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan. It just sets the mood for that whole montage so well to me!

  4. While the movie wasn’t overly great, Tron Legacy has an outstanding soundtrack. Daft Punk knocked it out of the park on that one; I think it absolutely made the film better because of it!
