So my favorite book friend and real life friend is wanting so bad to have a baby with her husband… Here is a little info.
After four years of trying to conceive a child, I was told that it would never happen. My endometriosis was so bad that I could barely walk. I had corrective surgery to fix the issue, but within six months it was back even worse than the first time, and I had to have a hysterectomy when I was only 24 years old. It is never easy to give up the opportunity to be a mother, but it is especially hard after so many years of trying to become parents. Surrogacy gives us the option of having our own child. This is where you come in. We need help paying for the costs associated with egg donation and surrogacy. They said it takes a village to raise a child, well it takes a village to fund one also.
Here is a breakdown of the estimated costs associated with surrogacy.
The surrogacy agency fee = $15,000
The surrogate compensation = $30,000
IVF Screening = $7500
Medical Costs of IVF Cycle, including medications = $20,000
Uncovered Medical Expenses (co-pays, prescriptions, etc. for pregnancy) = $1500
Life Insurance for Surrogate = $1000
Medical Insurance for Surrogate – = $3000, not including deposits and deductibles
Surrogate Disability Insurance = $325
Our Attorney Fees = $3000
Legal Proceedings, including Pre-Birth Order = $5000
Multiple Birth (per child additional cost) = $5000
C-Section = $3000
Other Invasive Procedure (Amniocentesis, CVS, D&C, Ectopic, etc) = $1000 per procedure
Loss of Reproductive Capacity = $5000

This does not include Uncovered medical expenses for prenatal care and delivery or Psychological Counseling
Thank you so, so much for taking the time out to read our story.
Even if you cannot afford to assist financially, sharing this with others would be a huge help.
