Character interview with Bronwyn from my story, The Celebration Game, in Masks!
Bronwyn, what made you want to start The Celebration Game?
Well, I always like a good competition. My friends and I have always been competitive with any games, and this is always a good way to reveal our true selves.
How did you meet Adrian?
I was the runt of the pack when we were younger, but I’ve always known him. At first, I wasn’t interested, but then after he took me on a flight out of the country, I just couldn’t resist.
What’s your favorite color?
Any of the colors of Mardi Gras, but particularly purple—it has the royalty vibe.
What is your favorite thing about Mardi Gras?
The floats! I love seeing the creativity put into each one and then watching people toss gifts to civilians. It’s almost glorious at times.
What are your hobbies?
I’m learning how to bake. I literally just made my first King Cake not too long ago.
What do you like most about escape rooms?
The danger, the feeling that we could all be trapped if no one ever unlocked the doors and we never discovered a way out. (Laissez les bons temps rouler (Let the good times roll)) It’s all in good fun!
Next secret code stop is for R.J. Garcia who will post a preview of The Axeman of New Orleans at
