Salbatora Tames has one true love, her avocado farm. Her family constantly nudges her to be more social, but Sal much prefers the dirt, the sun, and the solitude. Besides, trees listen better than people do.

An arrogant deity, a snarky archeress, and a rebellious attraction.
Envy is a celestial seducer—all vain smirks and conceit.
Sorrow is a celestial spitfire—all edgy vibes and sarcasm.
Together, they’re a hot, magical mess. He’s hardly amused by the prickly shrew. She doesn’t have time for his narcissistic crap.
Too bad they’re stuck with one another.
In a star-crossed world divided between deities and humans, a celestial battle has begun. Transported into an enemy realm of seas and starlight, Envy and Sorrow weren’t supposed to get separated from their band of rebel immortals. They weren’t supposed to end up lost in an enclave of dark, mythical waterfalls.
And they definitely weren’t supposed to end up alone.
Not with each other.
I’ve loved this entire series! Natalia knows how to write the best couples! And if you thought the other books in this series were swoony, then holy smokes prepare yourself, because this one has amazing romance!
I really liked getting into Sorrow’s head. She had a very interesting backstory, and yes sad, because she’s Sorrow! And Envy was much more than his sexy looks. He had a lovely heart in there too!
Another thing I enjoyed was seeing all the other couples together. All eight of these people made an awesome team! The words as usual was spot on and had some of the most beautiful writing I’ve ever seen! I’m sad that it’s over, but I can always reread their journeys!

Title: The Kingdom of Back
Author: Marie Lu
Date of Publication: March 3rd, 2020
Two siblings. Two brilliant talents. But only one Mozart.
Born with a gift for music, Nannerl Mozart has just one wish—to be remembered forever. But even as she delights audiences with her masterful playing, she has little hope she’ll ever become the acclaimed composer she longs to be. She is a young woman in 18th century Europe, and that means composing is forbidden to her. She will perform only until she reaches a marriageable age—her tyrannical father has made that much clear.
And as Nannerl’s hope grows dimmer with each passing year, the talents of her beloved younger brother, Wolfgang, only seem to shine brighter. His brilliance begins to eclipse her own, until one day a mysterious stranger from a magical land appears with an irresistible offer. He has the power to make her wish come true—but his help may cost her everything.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started this. I also knew nothing about Wolfgang Mozart besides him being a famous pianist. As for Nannerl, I had never heard of her! As the pages turned, I wanted to know more about them! Not just in the story, but in real life as well! I was pleasantly surprised about how much I loved this!
Nannerl was a girl I truly felt for, especially during this time where women weren’t truly equals. But her brother, Wolfgang, AKA Wolferl, was so freaking adorable, cute, and sweet! I really did love their bond.
The entwined fantasy elements were so cool and deliciously strange. I’m a lover of all things weird and odd, so I was so on board with the Kingdom of Back’s fantasy world. I’ll also admit that I think this may be Marie Lu’s best writing that I’ve read from her! Beautiful, haunting, magical, and mesmerizing!

Title: House of Earth and Blood
Author: Sarah J. Maas
Date of Publication: March 3rd, 2020
Bound by blood.
Tempted by desire.
Unleashed by destiny.
Bryce Quinlan had the perfect life—working hard all day and partying all night—until a demon murdered her closest friends, leaving her bereft, wounded, and alone. When the accused is behind bars but the crimes start up again, Bryce finds herself at the heart of the investigation. She’ll do whatever it takes to avenge their deaths.
Hunt Athalar is a notorious Fallen angel, now enslaved to the Archangels he once attempted to overthrow. His brutal skills and incredible strength have been set to one purpose—to assassinate his boss’s enemies, no questions asked. But with a demon wreaking havoc in the city, he’s offered an irresistible deal: help Bryce find the murderer, and his freedom will be within reach.
As Bryce and Hunt dig deep into Crescent City’s underbelly, they discover a dark power that threatens everything and everyone they hold dear, and they find, in each other, a blazing passion—one that could set them both free, if they’d only let it.
With unforgettable characters, sizzling romance, and page-turning suspense, this richly inventive new fantasy series by #1 New York Times bestselling author Sarah J. Maas delves into the heartache of loss, the price of freedom—and the power of love.
When I read a Maas book, I always know I’m going to be in for a fun time! And this one did not let me down! However, it did take me a little longer to get into and love the characters! But that last 150 pages had my heart!
Bryce was an interesting character because she may have seemed superficial at first, but underneath her there’s so much more! Sometimes you just have to find the right person who can chip away at those hardened layers!
And oh dear lord, Hunt! Loved him! He was definitely like a mirror of Bryce! Both have been through so much pain and grief! I really liked the chemistry between the two of them!
At first, I just felt claustrophobic with so many fantasy and paranormal creatures thrown my way at one time. But as the pages turned, I really did fall in love with this world! There was plenty of action and surprises and I’m excited to see what happens next! 5 stars!
