Each chapter features spotlights on major players in the development of games and gaming that contains everything that gamers and non-gamers alike need to understand and appreciate this incredible phenomenon.

My Review:

I really am not a gamer, but when it comes to old school games, I am like yes! I was seriously the pro at Mortal Kombat! I just made myself wish I was playing Mortal Kombat right now!

This book isn’t exactly what I thought it was going to be, but it was cool nonetheless. It is told in comic book form just like the title suggests. I thought the illustrations were well done, and I was pretty excited when I saw the Donkey Kong stuff!

When we get to the newer sections that is more like Playstation, etc. I was like noooooo! I hate all the games where you have to walk around and stuff. Can’t we just go back to scroll screens? If you like comic books and are a gamer, then you are going to love this book.

I received this book from Blogging for Books for this review.
